Enjoying a much needed lazy Sunday afternoon, conserving my energy before my many adventures later tonight. Figure its as good a time as any to list off some sites ‘n stuff that I think ya’ll might enjoy.
First up, for all my beloved shutterbugs. I know some of you are already prepping for SEAF but here’s another interesting and potentially profitable outlet for your art:
I was a bit leary about posting this link here since technically its designed for teens. But all the folks involved are in their twenties, no matter who they are marketing to. Besides which its FREAKIN BRILLIANT and does have to do with sexuality which is one of the big things I like to discuss here. The wonderful and always amazing Susie Bright clued me into these folks. Lots of reasons to love this project but top of my list is that it manages to be funny and informative without being the slightest bit condescending. My absolute favorite is the opening to the episode on birth control.
I think the clips are safe to view at work, no nudity, but ya might want to wait till you’re someplace where big loud laughter is okay:
Lastly, though I’ve heard her name around, I just found Violet Blue’s blog. The Stranger’s blog had a link to her bit about being on the Tyra Banks show(absolute travesty but amusing aftermath story). Her writing style will take some getting use to but what I’ve managed to interpret so far is good stuff:
I just got a couple of new books in the mail that I plan on reviewing here:
Crossdressing, erotic short stories. Edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel. Forward by Veronica Vera
Miss Vera’s Finishing School for Boys Who Want to Be Girls. Tips, Tales and Teachings from the Dean of the World’s First Cross-Dressing Academy. By Veronica Vera.
One of the many reasons that I love Fall is that not only do I want to devour books like chocolate covered crack, but it’s also a pretty creative time for me. I plan on posting the next installment to the story that is presently on my website and I’ve already started working out a couple of new short stories.
All Hail the return of the muse!
